Ok here is the place to post information about snark sailing. It is our goal that the Snark Sailing Association is the fondation for the development of a strong support system for all snark sailors, particularly those that sail the Sea/Super Snark and Sunflower 3.3.
I would like to appologies for those that started a thread here previously as the forum had some issues and so had to re-create the forum.

Hi...Just purchased a new Sunflower 3.3, should be arriving next week sometime and am eager to get started. This forum should prove to be a valuable resource for info and instruction. O J Fisher

i just purchased an old Jetwind sailboat (they were originally sold at Sears), which, from what i understand, is the same thing as a snark mach 11. trying to figure out how to rig it. i am new to sailing. in the manual i found on the internet it looks like the line that goes to the boom (mainsheet?) is actually tied to the tiller in a hole that runs sideways, rather than from top to bottom. i am new to sailing. is anyone familiar with this type? thank you!

I have most of a Sunflower now, the mast and sail are at the bottom of a lake near Cape Cod. Still a nice friend gave me the rest of the boat for my kids. So I need suggestions for how to get a mast and sail together so they can get on the water when the ice melts. Any suggestions?
